We can also refer you to providers that meet your families’ needs, based on the age of your child and the programs they offer for that age group.

INFANTS & TODDLERS

Child Care Answers offers consultation services and resources to families on a variety of issues impacting healthy care and development for children aged zero to three. We offer a wide variety of parenting resources on topics such as bedtime basics, infant feeding, diapering, potty training, and other topics.

Preschool & Pre-K Children

Looking for a place where your three-, four-, or five-year-old can learn his ABCs, as well as develop socially and emotionally? if you’re looking for financial support for your 4 year old, you may qualify for On My Way Pre-K, Indiana’s state funded Pre-K scholarship program for four-year-olds. Apply online at Early Ed Connect or contact LaKesha at LaKesha.Fillmore@Fssa.in.gov for additional support.

Kindergarten

Sending your “baby” off to Kindergarten can be an emotional process. There are so many options to consider and new situations to navigate, but our resources can help you feel less overwhelmed. Whether you need to choose or a school, find out-of-school child care, or advice on navigate the water for a child with special needs, we are here for you.

If you plan to send your child to a publicly-funded school in Marion county, a good place to start is with our partners at Enroll Indy.  Admission requirements and procedures for private schools and individual districts in Hamilton and Hendicks counties vary, so our Kindergarten Transition Guide is a good place to start for general advice.
