My favorite place was Nicaragua, mostly because I could visit with my daughter whom I had not seen for six months, since she was on a year-long mission trip. Nicaragua’s volcanoes are pretty cool too.

I have to choose ONE? The best book I’ve read lately is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It includes a little bit of love, adventure and life lessons.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

I’ve made many quilts over the years. On the flip side, I’m married to a punk rocker even though I am not a fan of punk rock!
